LGBTQ+ & Allies Community Heart Circle and Spirituality Discussion

The Austin LGBTQIA+ & Allies Community Heart Circle is a monthly event designed to help people relate with one another in more meaningful ways. We believe life should be fun, and connecting with people makes life meaningful.

We welcome anyone of any faith, and anyone who doesn’t fit into a pre-defined category. Whoever you are, whoever you love, and whatever body you live in, you are welcome here!

Come and participate in something that has been a part of Austin for over 25 years!

Time and location details:
We meet at the First Unitarian Universalist Church of Austin on the 3rd Sunday of each month in room 13. Enter through the office door.

What we do at our monthly community event:

1. We begin with some announcements and initial information designed to make this a Safe Space for everyone in the LGBTQIA+ Community.
2. Next we have introductions, and some icebreaker questions to get everyone involved in conversation.
3. The Community Heart Circle opens with a discussion on the topic of the month. We follow a format that allows everyone time to share their thoughts, if they wish, and allows time for open discussion as a group.

Rules:
Business solicitations are forbidden, as are any attempts to proselytize or disrespect another’s beliefs. Racism, homophobia, or bullying will not be tolerated. No one will ever be asked for money. Our expenses are covered by the First Unitarian Universalist Church.
