Join us for an evening of fun playing Backgammon hosted by Kurt Snyder, President and Organizer of The Backgammon Club of New Jersey (BGCNJ), and Deb Goldfarb, Assistant Organizer and our all star venue, Stagehouse Tavern. Please bring a board if you have one. (PLEASE IGNORE ANY REFERENCES TO OUR FORMER VENUE, 22 WEST.)
HOURS:
5:00-6:00: Arrive, SHARP. Order Entree and Beverage (Required).
6:30 Dinner
7:00: Games Begin
10:00: (at latest) Games End.
Our Meet-ups are open to Backgammon beginners and enthusiasts of all ages looking to have fun playing and meeting new people. Ever wonder what that "cube" is used for? Please find "What We're About" on our home page and proceed accordingly. Whether you are a seasoned player or new to the game, our Club offers valuable insights and lessons at no charge. Lessons are available only for Members.
We offer all types of play: pick-up games, match games, chouette, doubles, and Tournaments.
Our agreement with Stagehouse Tavern is that all players purchase an entree and beverage by 6:00 SHARP. Please bring your own board if you have one. Please rsvp in a timely fashion to secure a position at a table.
