What we’re about
This is a group for writers who like to write screenplays/short films/stage plays and like to present their work to a group of friendly, like-minded people for feedback and an outside perspective. It's also for actors who'd like to sharpen their skills and do some on-the-spot interpretations of those writers' work for a non-judgmental audience.
Our premise is: writers bring in up to 12 pages of anything they're working on, and attending actors (or other writers) will do a blind table read of your material. We meet every two weeks, on Tuesday evenings, for the time being.
Our group endeavors to be laid-back, accessible, and honest and actors/writers of any and all skill levels are welcome, as well as material of all genres and subjects.
Come for the whole evening and meet some new friends, or just come with a piece and leave once you've been reviewed!
If you haven't already, please do visit our website
Hope to see you at our next meeting!

See all- Review/Discuss: Thelma & LouiseLink visible for attendees
In these sessions, we will focus on learning from other great works. Think of a book club, but for screenplays. All the scripts will be from often-quoted movies.
For this session, we are reviewing 'Thelma & Louise' for discussion.
- You can download the scripts from our website's library:
- In case of issues, please use the links (2nd Draft, Final Draft) as an alternative.
We will review and comment on our takeaways from the 2nd Draft, including, but not limited to, Character, Plot, and theme. We will also choose our next screenplay to read for the next session.
