Onigiri, a traditional Japanese food, is simple yet deeply cultural.
In this event, we offer the ultimate onigiri experience using only the finest, authentic ingredients.
The star of this experience is the rare “first-harvest” Akashi Nori, collected only once a year.
Known as the Jewel of the Sea, this premium seaweed is prized for its rich umami, deep aroma, and melt-in-your-mouth texture.
This event gives you the chance to enjoy these qualities at their absolute best.
To complement the Akashi Nori, we have carefully selected ingredients from Kochi Prefecture:

  • Aromatic Rice (from Kochi): sweet fragrance with a popcorn-like aroma
  • Natural Salt from Kochi: gentle and mellow, enhancing the flavor of the nori

Instead of shaping the rice by hand, participants will use traditional hinoki (cypress) wooden molds, just like professional chefs.
There are two sizes of molds, including a giant mold roughly the size of a face, offering a fun and visually impressive experience perfect for photos.
