The Development Club: Christmas Dinner
Details
Hey everyone!
Had an absolute blast at our last meetup - The Development Club and The Development Club: After Hours! Thanks for coming out #HalloweenVibes
Quick update! The date for our next Development Club meetup has changed — we’re moving it from Saturday, December 6th to Saturday, December 13th. Our 6th in-person meetup of 2025 is happening at The Economy Shoe Shop — back to our OG spot (where it all began)!
This one’s simple: our Christmas Dinner. No theme — just good food, drinks, and connection. Come hang out, celebrate the season and share what you’re grateful for. Feel free to bring a friend! If you’ve been looking for a healthy, grounded place to connect and grow, this is it.
Shoutout to Elizabeth, for the brilliant idea! 🙌

Meetup Location(s):
We will meetup via Zoom once a month and in-person all Summer/Fall.
Meetup: We have a small set of rules and a syllabus to outline the points we will discuss. The goal is that everyone who comes gets to better understand themselves and how to motivate themselves to create the habits they desire. I believe we are all put here for a reason - this meetup is for everyone who would like to connect with like-minded people on that same journey.
Each meetup we'll have either topic to highlight and discuss or we'll have Guest Speaker join us.
Books we highly recommend to read:
- The Power of the Subconscious Mind by Joseph Murphy
- Cashflow Quadrant by Robert Kiyosaki

Rules
- 1st 30 minutes will be structured and each person will have 5 minutes to share a personal and financial goal, as well as their reason for joining the group. I will then spend 5-10 minutes to explain the conscious vs subconscious mind is - and then I will breakdown the 4 main ways to reprogram the subconscious mind and why this is crucial in attracting happiness and achieving any goal.
Having a solid structure will make sure we get to hear from everyone and cover all the necessary main points. The only person that will be sharing/talking is the person introducing.
2. The discussion will be a free flowing structure and anyone who is open to speak can. This will be the time for discussion, questions, sharing, and inspiring each other.
Syllabus
5-5:15pm: Introductions - We go around the table and each person will introduce themselves: where they are from, what got them interested in the meetup and share a personal and financial goal (5 mins max for each person).
5:15-5:20pm: I will give a quick breakdown on the conscious vs. subconscious mind. I then breakdown the four main ways to reprogram the subconscious and how learning about our subconscious mind is the most important project we'll ever work on, along with increasing our financial literacy:
- Reading
- Affirmations
- Visualizations
- Auto-hypnosis
5:20-6:00pm: I introduce the topic.
6:00-7:00pm: The floor is open and everyone can share their thoughts/ideas. Please limit your thoughts to 5 mins or less. We want to make sure everyone has an opportunity to share. If there is one person taking a bit more of the conversation space please don't take it personally if I tell you to give a few minutes to allow others to share as well - we just want to make sure everyone's voice is heard. This is a loving and safe environment...everyone's voice and opinion is respected. These topics can be personal and vulnerable and we want to create a judgement-free zone. We need to hear the ideas that you bring to the table...please don't forget, YOU and what you bring will make US better. Thank you for sharing and thank you for attending in advance.
Thanks, looking forward to connecting.
