Had a blast this past meetup @ The Wooden Monkey! Great convo, great to see new faces and older faces đ
Our next meetup is a fun one - it's our Dev Club Halloween Meetup! happening on Halloween, Sat, October 31st at The Pint! Feel free to bring a costume and dress-up - I'm def dressing up again (I was the only person who did last time lol).
The topic for the night is a powerful one:
"What Would You Do If You Knew You Couldnât Fail?"
If you knew it was all possible â and it is â what would you do?
And are you going after it?
If thereâs something you really want to do, letâs talk about how to get âunstuck,â start getting after it all, and more. You're so needed.
Looking forward to this one.
We'll also simply catch up, have some food/drinks and connect with other like-minded folks. Feel free to bring a friend. If you're looking for a healthy/safe-place to share whateverâs on your mind - this is the place to share.
đ Dev Club After Hours will be another Halloween Pub Crawl!
The last one was amazingggg. Shout-out to Elizabeth for coming up with the idea â youâre the real MVP! đ
If youâre new to the group, check out the Mindset Fundamentals video below. đ§
Itâs a quick 15-minute introduction to the four fundamentals we talk about at The Development Club:
⢠Affirmations
⢠Visualization
⢠Reading
⢠Auto-hypnosis
If youâve been around for a while, itâs also a great refresher.
Please watch it before the next meetup, and bring any questions you have with you. Weâll jump straight into the topic when we meet

Quick reminder about the Deep Dive Group happening every following Sunday, after each meetup.
This was actually suggested by a few of you, and itâs a great idea. Itâs for those who want to go beyond the general conversations around mindset and really get into how to apply it day-to-day.
Weâll be talking through things like:
⢠Whatâs been challenging for you (visualization, affirmations, etc.)
⢠Whatâs been working
⢠Where youâve seen growth
⢠And how to make this stuff more real in your everyday life
Itâs not for everyone â but if this resonates with you, itâs for you.
If you want to join, DM me for the link.
Also! đ the Development Club 30-Day Mindset Challenge starts again this November (Date: TBD)! #RoundThree of Daily mindset boosts, visualization, affirmations, and personal guidance.

Meetup Location(s):
In-person. We may meetup via Zoom only when weather doesn't allow us to meet in person.
Meetup: We have a small set of rules and a basic outline. The goal is that everyone who comes gets to better understand themselves and how to motivate themselves to create the habits they desire. I believe we are all put here for a reason - this meetup is for everyone who would like to connect with like-minded people on that same journey.
Each meetup we'll have either topic to highlight and discuss, or we'll have a Guest Speaker join us.
Books we highly recommend to read:
- The Power of the Subconscious Mind by Joseph Murphy
- Cashflow Quadrant by Robert Kiyosaki

Syllabus
5-5:15pm: Introductions - We go around the table and each person will introduce themselves: where they are from, what got them interested in the meetup and share a personal and financial goal (5 mins max for each person).
5:20-7:00pm: I introduce the topic. The floor is open and everyone can share their thoughts/ideas. We want to make sure everyone has an opportunity to share. If there is one person taking a bit more of the conversation space please don't take it personally if I tell you to give a few minutes to allow others to share as well - we just want to make sure everyone's voice is heard.
7:00-Closing (or however late you want to stay out lol): Development Club AFTER-HOURS
This is a loving and safe environment...everyone's voice and opinion is respected. These topics can be personal and vulnerable and we want to create a judgement-free zone. We need to hear the ideas that you bring to the table...please don't forget, YOU and what you bring will make US better. Thank you for sharing and thank you for attending in advance.
Thanks, looking forward to connecting.
P.S. YOU are the gift youâve been waiting for. #BuildSomethingBeautiful đ
