Authentic Relating | Holding On, Letting Go: Navigating the Slow Goodbye

Details
Some goodbyes don’t happen all at once.
They unfold quietly — over months, sometimes years — in slow conversations, old voicemails, hospital rooms, silent dinners, and memories we’re afraid to lose.
Whether you’re grieving a parent, letting go of a past relationship, or simply noticing a part of your life fading — this session is for you.
We’re not here to fix anything.
We’re here to feel, remember, honour, and let go — in community.
In this space, grief isn’t a problem to solve.
It’s a doorway to presence, vulnerability, and connection.
You don’t have to be ready.
You just have to bring what’s true.

No one turned away due to lack of funds — your presence matters most.
What to Bring:
- Comfortable clothing
- A water bottle
- An item that represents someone/something you’re grieving (optional)
- A willingness to be present
Why This Matters:
We all carry unspoken grief.
Sometimes for people.
Sometimes for moments.
Sometimes for the versions of ourselves we had to leave behind.
In a world that rushes through pain, this is a space to slow down.
To feel what was never felt.
To speak what was never said.
To be held, and to hold.
Come sit with us.
Not because you need to be strong —
But because you no longer have to carry it alone.
