In June 2026, thousands joined Ende Gelände in Germany to confront the expansion of gas infrastructure and other fossil-fuel projects, as heatwaves, wildfires, and extreme weather again pushed the climate crisis into everyday life, reaching Paris this summer.

Do You Remember…? recalls the climate mobilizations of 2018 and 2019—school strikes, mass marches, occupied streets, and handmade signs calling for a livable future—actions that disappeared from the large public but live on in organizing and at sites where new fossil infrastructure is being built.

This photographic series follows one of these moments of resistance, shifting between crowded protests and quieter scenes of planning, tiredness, care, and determination to show that protest is not just a single day, but ongoing work.

As things have seemingly not improved, but worsened, climate breakdown, war, and water consumption of AI technology, the future seems increasingly unimaginable.

The series do not promise resolution. They stay with the people who keep resisting and ask what it means to remember a movement while its fight is still unfolding.

This exhibition is independent, self-funded and unaffiliated with Ende Gelaende or any other organizations.
