September 2026 New Moon Esbat

The Firefly House invites you to join us for a (roughly) one hour New Moon esbat on Friday, September 11, at 8:00pm.

Our esbats move in patterns of three: two that focus on journey work, a form of guided meditation that includes open-ended questions so that each of us experiences something a little different and uniquely special. The third esbat in the pattern will be more experimental where we come up with something else to do that evening. It could be a bit of magic, maybe a prayer workshop, or even an open mic poetry reading! You never know what it could be! (Until we tell you.)

Because September contains the Fall Equinox, this will be one of our more experimental events. This time, it's a Choose Your Own Adventure! Maybe it'll be epic. Maybe it'll be silly. Maybe it'll be dumb. Who knows! Either way, we'll join together, sacralize the occasion, and then create a story together, and see what comes of it.

Regardless, whether you're in the Washington DC area or you'll be joining us from far, far away, we hope to see you online!
