About us
Join us for an adventurous journey through the international flavors of Den Haag, Delft, Rotterdam, Amsterdam, and nearby.
Think of this group as an adventures' guild for culinary explorers, where each event is a quest for discovering and savoring delicious food. We will create a party of 8-10 persons to complete each quest.
We encourage our members to be actively involved in our food quests. Share your favorite spots, explore new ones, and build lasting foodie companionships
However, let it be known that we uphold a strict โNO-SHOWโ policy. Failing to honor your commitment is akin to banishment from the guild.
Welcome to โThe Foodie Fellowshipโ Meetup group!

Meat-up @Meat Day Harbour Scheveningen
Meat Day Harbour, Dr. Lelykade 25, 2583 CL, Scheveningen, NLJoin us for a delicious dinner at Meat Day Harbour in Scheveningen, the first Turkish halal smokehouse in the Netherlands. They have only two locations worldwid - one in Istanbul and one right here in Scheveningen. This restaurant is known for its incredible slow-smoked meats.
Watch this short video to get an idea of what to expect. ๐คค๐At Meat Day Harbour, the concept is simple and perfect for a group gathering. Instead of ordering individual dishes from a fixed menu, we order a selection of meats by the kilo and share them at the table. Expect tender cuts that have been smoked for hours until theyโre so soft they practically fall off the bone!
The meats are served alongside a variety of traditional Turkish mezes and enjoyed with a good drink, making it a relaxed and social dining experience.
Please note, to confirm your attendance, you must pay the Tikkie (coming soon). The costs you pay here will be balanced against your bill at the dinner.

Chettinad chit-chat @Anjappar Den Haag
Anjappar Denhaag, Driehoekjes 7, 2513 AZ,, Den Haag, NLEvery month in 2026, The Foodie Fellowship will feature a meetup with a different regional cuisine from India or inspired by the cuisines of the Indian subcontinent. In April, we are traveling down south to the Chettinad region of Tamil Nadu in South India. Famous for its intensely aromatic spice blends and rich, deeply flavored dishes, this is one of the most distinctive regional cuisines in India.
Rather than simply being โspicy,โ Chettinad food is known for its complex layers of flavor, created by roasting and grinding spices such as:
- Black pepper
- Fennel seeds
- Star anise
- Cloves and cinnamon
- Dried red chilies
- Curry leaves
The result is dishes that are bold, fragrant, and wonderfully warming.
Anjappar is famous for authentic Chettinad dishes, and there are many tempting options on the menu. Some highlights include:
๐ถ๏ธ Chicken Chettinad
A classic dish where chicken is simmered in a roasted masala of spices, curry leaves, and onions. Rich, aromatic, and slightly peppery.
๐ฅฉ Mutton Sukka
Tender pieces of goat meat cooked down with spices, shallots, and curry leaves until dry-roasted and intensely flavorful.
๐ฆ Prawn Masala
Fresh prawns in a spiced onion-tomato gravy packed with Chettinad flavors.
๐ Pepper Chicken
A stir-fried dish where freshly ground black pepper gives a warm, punchy heat.
๐ฅฌ Vegetable Kurma
A fragrant coconut-based curry filled with vegetables and spices.
๐ฅ Dosas & Parottas
Perfect for dipping into sauces:- Crispy Masala Dosa filled with spiced potatoes
- Flaky layered Parotta bread
๐ Biryani
Aromatic rice cooked with spices and meat or vegetables.
And of course, drinks like Mango Lassi or South Indian filter coffee help balance the spices.View the full menu here.
