Join The Foodie Fellowship for an evening of hearty Balkan food, charcoal-grilled meats, and good company at Balkan Grill in the centre of The Hague!

🇭🇷🇷🇸🇧🇦 A taste of the Balkans
Balkan Grill has been a fixture in The Hague for more than 40 years, specialising in traditional Balkan dishes prepared on the charcoal grill. Located right in the city centre, close to the Binnenhof, it promises the kind of unpretentious, hearty food that is perfect for a Foodie Fellowship dinner.
The menu is particularly focused on grilled meats and Balkan classics. Some things we can try include:

🔥 Ćevapčići – homemade seasoned minced-meat rolls
🍔 Pljeskavica – Balkan-style homemade burger
🥩 Balkan Spies – beef tenderloin with onion and pepper
🍖 Balkan Grill for two – a mixed grill with steak, chicken, bacon and pork skewers
🥗 Šopska salata – tomato, cucumber, onion, pepper and feta cheese

Most main courses are around €18–€34, with several larger mixed-grill dishes designed for two people to share.
And if we want to finish the evening in true Balkan spirit, there are also Balkan drinks such as Slivovic (plum brandy) and Kruškovac (pear liqueur). 🍐🥃

💰 Costs
Everyone orders and pays for their own food and drinks. This isn't a fixed-menu event, so you can choose whatever you like from the restaurant's menu.

As always, the idea is not just to eat something delicious, but to discover a cuisine together and meet fellow food lovers. If you've never tried Balkan food before, this is a great opportunity!
