Max 11 participants can comfortably fit in this room at any one time with the following set-up along the lines of;

• 3 vocalists,
• 2 guitarists
• 1 bassist
• 1 drummer/percussion
• 1 keys
• 1 miscellaneous

Participants will be called up to play songs they've noted on the Google Sheets as priority, otherwise it's whenever there is a space available or all listed songs have been played - then it's a free jam.

The Jam Plan

2:30pm-4:15pm
PART 1

There are many variations of jamming each song, options are:

• Play as per standard with the band being directed.
• Following a band member lead and playing variations of the songs.

Song list sheet:

To request a song for others to play or to be a main part on a specific song, please message over your email address to get access to edit the list or request access (top right button) via the Google Sheet;

If there is a song on the list you would like to do, but see someone else on, please add a '/' and then your name to be the name player on the second time round.

Please do add your name to songs you wish to play or sing as soon as you can, as this helps to determine which songs will be played on the day.

Singers, please add the key and provide chords/music to the song you wish to sing on, if not the original.

# One week before the jam:

No more song recommendations should be added, and any new song suggestions will be placed in the lower priority songs.

# What to bring on the day:

There will be a drum kit, three mics, 1 bass amp and 2 guitar amps on the day and keys will be booked if a keys' player joins.

All the above will be used in rotation.

Singers:
Bring along lyrics of tunes you wish to sing or the willingness to learn or back up on the day.

Guitarist / Bassist:
Bring along your instrument.

Drummers:
Sticks of your choice (they're available to borrow at the studio too).

# Considerations

1. This event requires willingness and ability to collaborate with others and work as a band.
2. Jammers should come prepared for the songs that they put their names down for.
3. Songs suggested should be suitable for a band set and have chords provided in the spreadsheet for others to learn in advance if not already on the list. The key must be provided for others to learn if different from the original.
4. Instruments must be tuned before starting the jam.
5. No shows or cancellations up to 3 days before the Jam will not be refunded. To avoid this, update your attendee status so someone else can take your spot, and only then can you get a refund. All refunds will be processed after the jam and this can take up to 7 working days depending on your bank.

The cost is £12 pre-pay for the day, which all go towards running The Jam and rental costs.
