Sequels and prequels seem to get more tangled and confusing as the years go by and now even when it comes to home invasions. You would think that Chapter One means the beginning right? Well not really but I will simplify this as best as possible.

This new baby serves as a prequel to the first film yet it will be the first instalment of a new Trilogy of standalone films. Chapter 1 will follow a similar premise to the original film and will take place in the same continuity as the first two instalments. The original film follows a couple who stay at a vacation home which is soon disrupted by three masked intruders. I have only ever seen the original film and I remember it being quite good. It definitely felt old school with a little bit of that 1978 Halloween Vibe.

Not much to report apart from this, I'm just hoping it's going to be a good movie but so far so good.
