1.2 The Joining Game
The core mechanic of The Joining Game is Explore/Explain.
The two roles for participants are Player/Game Master
The Game Master frames questions and subgroups
The Players make choices,
Explore reality or Explain reality
and then join on similarities or introduce differences,
A key boundary within the activity is that I agree to explore my thoughts and feelings with words inside the game,
but not act on them inside or outside of the game.
Key goals: Join on what we have in common,
cultivate our courage and curiosity,
and explore the edge of the known/unknown.
