Pets, Pints, and Book Release Party: Almost There Rescue Fundraiser

Join us on Saturday, October 12, 2024, as The Joy Lush Club teams up with Pup + Me Photo for a fun-filled day supporting Almost There: A Mom + Pups Rescue.

The event kicks off with a special edition of Pets and Pints, where 20% of all bar tabs will benefit the rescue.

From 2 PM - 4 PM, enjoy the release of Tails of Phoenix, Pup + Me Photo’s latest book celebrating the bond between dogs and their owners. All profits from the book will be donated to Almost There Rescue.

Parking: The Joy Lush Club offers free self-parking for all guests. We are located in Camel Central Plaza on the north side of West Camelback Road, just west of North Central Avenue. If our lot is full, additional parking is available in the adjacent lot to the west.

Light Rail (Valley Metro Rail): Customers can reach The Joy Lush Club by taking the Valley Metro Rail. The closest stop is the Central Ave/Camelback station, which is located directly across the street from The Joy Lush Club.

Almost There: A Mom + Pups Rescue’s mission is to save mama dogs and their pups, providing them with the care, enrichment, and love they need to find their forever homes. Specializing in pregnant and nursing dogs, Almost There Rescue offers these dogs and their pups the time and space they need to grow, thrive, and become socialized. Their puppies follow a specialized “Puppy Culture” curriculum, developed by experts, including behavioral veterinarians and trainers. From birth until adoption, the pups engage in enrichment activities that foster socialization and healthy development. Mama dogs also receive personalized care from on-site behaviorists, ensuring they’re ready to become your new best friend.

Pup + Me Photo is a family dog photography team with a special focus on capturing the unique bond between guardians and their pups. Monica and Evan, the passionate duo behind Pup + Me Photo, believe that volunteering not only sparks their creativity but also brings immense joy. They find it incredibly rewarding to meet all the wonderful dogs, connect with like-minded people, and showcase just how amazing shelters can be. For them, there's nothing better than the feeling of giving back to the community while doing what they love.
