Greetings, and welcome to The Kumara Center for Spiritual Awareness!
I am Shusara Akona Kumara, one of a multitude here on our Mother Earth at this time tasked to hold and assist in increasing humanity's Light. Although I was an avid student of metaphysics from the age of thirteen, I began consciously walking my path in earnest in 2007 through the onset of a kundalini awakening and then being lead to my spiritual mentor. I now carry memories of where I came from and my mission here.
My job is to help awaken humanity out of the slumber of mis-perceived separation and to act as a guide for those who wish to make great spiritual advances in this lifetime. I began The Kumara Center as a means to reach out to people who are seek Truth and are willing to question everything they believe in order to find it.
What is The Kumara Center for Spiritual Awareness? Very simply put, it is an energy. The Kumara Center is a physical manifestation of the energy of Shambhala (where the Will of God is Known)...an energy which is very specific to my lineage and my mission here. It is an energy which devoted seekers come to embody, carrying it into their daily lives where it positively affects all those with whom they come into contact.
I founded The Kumara Center for the purpose of sharing the ancient wisdom of the Kumara lineage with those who are drawn to us. It is with great joy that I work with true spiritual aspirants: those who have reached the point in their soul's journey when they consciously choose to surrender themselves to the path of true liberation. At this time, most still are not ready to cast off the ingrained collectively held beliefs which bind them. The saying, "many are called, but few are chosen" is very accurate, because the appeal of liberation calls to all seekers like the song of the siren, but most veer off course when the work becomes challenging, rather than allowing themselves to be dashed upon the rocks (to continue the metaphor) of Truth, where freedom is to be found. Many of those who are ready to begin this level of work have a background in spiritual disciplines which often include the following: A Course in Miracles, Byron Katie, Eckhart Tolle, Vedanta (such as Advaita - Mooji, Gangaji, Adyashanti), Buddhism, the Theosophical teachings of Blavatsky and Bailey, the I AM work of the Prophets, Toltec tradition, and even through channels such as Ramtha, Bashar and Abraham. Others simply find their way to this work quite unexpectedly, not really knowing why they came, but recognizing that now is the time.
The method used to guide seekers is unique. In essence, the seeker uses a piece of the mind to dissolve the mind (the personal self), thus enabling consciousness to open back up to the experience of its true nature (Love) and once again function from its Knowing, which resides within the heart. In highest Truth, your life is your spiritual path and there is nothing to change. What is required to achieve liberation from the patterned consciousness of the world already exists in your life and it is my work to point you in the right direction in order to begin seeing through the maya we think of as "reality."
