Mending the Hoop (Asheville): Psychedelic Reformation and Harm Support

Details
Have you experienced difficulties within psychedelic communities, organizations, ceremonial circles, retreats, or with an individual practitioner?
Have you been holding your experience, maybe a bit confused and uncertain about how to move forward, without a meaningful place to share and receive feedback so you can begin the repair process?
This is an all too common phenomenon, and rarely discussed due to the social power dynamics and legalities that are in place.
Specifically in Asheville, there are a number of psychedelic circles being held without a comprehensive understanding of trauma, group dynamics, and the importance of processes that extend beyond working within a container of “the medicine.”
This dynamic is confusing enough on its own, and amplified by psychedelics.
When this type of injury is incurred it often comes with an added sense of loss — a sense of betrayal, loss of friends / community, personal power that’s been damaged, compromised feelings of safety, questioning one’s experience.
Even within well-meaning groups, conflict arises and harm can be created, which fractures not only the group container but also the individual psyche.
This is a support group designed to hold space for the emerging needs of psychedelic-related injuries, specific to the relational field, in service of bring about repair and reformation.
In-person intimate gathering in a healing suite in West Asheville. Location disclosed upon registration. Limit 8 participants.
