Green is my favorite color because it's the color of all the beautiful rolling hillsides after the rains! ๐Ÿ’š

GTFOutta here, of course it's not because of the rolling green hillsides!! It's because it's the color of money ๐Ÿ’ต Who cares about rolling green hillsides when you can roll in cash?!

That's a rhetorical question, by the way. I wouldn't know since the only thing rolling in my world are the green hillsides.

Green actually isn't my favorite color anyway, so not only am I not rolling in cash, I'm a bit of what you might call an exaggerator.

Okay, fibber.

But only when the occasion calls for it. Let me give you an example:
Uh... uh... hmm... well,

I can't think of anything at the moment but if I happen to think of an instance when the occasion would call for it, I'll let you know.

Oh, by the way, this'll be my birthday ๐ŸŽ‚ hike, I'm turning 36...

Okay, let's get to the details!

This hike is like all the other ones I lead: bitchen. It'll have lots of stuff to look at. We professionals call that "visual interest". Think of trees ๐ŸŒณ and rock formations, rolling green hills dotted with wildflowers ๐ŸŒธ and big, puffy white clouds floating across an azure sky ๐ŸŒค We may even see some deer, coyotes or mountain lions (hopefully not the latter) but certainly birds and insects. Which reminds me, you may want to wear some bug spray.

We'll hike about 5.5 miles, give or take. The elevation gain on this one is about 900 ft. cumulative. I mean, I'm approximating here, so don't hold me to that. In fact, don't hold me to anything, you'll get disappointed ๐Ÿ˜Just show up and have a good time. No Complainers, whiners, negative nellies, or scowling faces, you'll be pushed off the side of the rolling green hillside.

I would rate this hike as perfect for fit beginners to the more seasoned hiker. Novices and occasional hikers will not be happy campers. KYOA - Know Your Own Abilities!!

Doggos? Yes! Leashed? Yes! Poop picked up after? Yes! ๐Ÿฆฎ

Now, am I forgetting anything? Oh yeah, you are responsible for yourselves. Think of this as hiking with friends (and strangers) because you are. I mean, really... when I referred to myself as professional in the above paragraph, I was only being an exaggerator ๐Ÿ˜ Oh, and my favorite color is Hot Pink.

MORE DETAILS:
๐ŸŸข We leave on time. That means that we do not have a grace period, those are for sissies. Get there early, park and be ready to hike.
๐ŸŸข Cell phone service can be spotty at the trailhead.
๐ŸŸข Plenty of residential street parking but you may have to walk a lil' bit to the trailhead.
๐ŸŸข There is a restroom at the park on the lefthand side after you turn onto Lang Ranch Pkwy, otherwise it's the bushes.
๐ŸŸข Your hike leader is Hot Stuff, try not to stare.
