I've had many of you ask me when I'm going to schedule another hike and whaddya know? Here ya go! 🌞

I put in a request to have the oven turned down so we can hit the trails again. And if this cooling trend sticks around, you'll be seeing a lot more of me.

Not more of me in the biblical sense, this is held on a Sunday after all (not that I ever gave a shit about what the church thinks). Hey, it wouldn't friggin' kill ya if it was biblical anyway. I mean, look at me, I'm still alive and I look in the mirror every day! 😁

Let's make a triumphant return to Triunfo park trail (at least, that's what I call it) and bust out a pretty lil' hike that has plenty of visual interest and spectacular 360° views of the Connayo-rhymes-with-mayo Valley. It'll knock 🥊 yer socks 🧦 off!

I haven't scheduled this one in ages, so I'm excited!

Yes, Charlie Brown, there's a climb on this one but the trail is so pretty, you'll hardly notice your heavy breathing (I'll notice it though). Still, it's nothing to cry over and ya can't get the views without it.

I rate this as great for fit beginners on up. Novices - no bene.
You can bring the doggos 🦮 on this one (leashed, watered, must pick up their poop) as long as it's not too hot for them. Remember, your dogs hike with fur coats on.

Brunch (YAY) is optional... but why? That's the reason we hike, so we can stuff our faces afterwards 😜

Last time it was Paris Baguette, this time it's Le Pain Quotidien which has some of you wondering: have I become a francophile? Hell no, I'm Italian and British and will remain that way. Besides, Le Pain Quotidien is actually Belgian. Their pastries are SFG - So Fucking Good. They have all these other wonderful breakfast and brunch choices too 🥐 🍳 🍇 🧀 ☕️

DIRECTIONS
From the 101 fwy in Westlake Village, exit Westlake Blvd. (hwy 23) and head south (toward the beach). Drive about a mile, then turn right onto Triunfo Canyon Rd. Turn left on Aranmoor, which is right next to the park.
