Day 1 - Arrival & Welcome
Day 2 - Glenridding & Helvellyn Circular
We begin our Lake District adventure in the beautiful village of Glenridding for a full-day mountain hike through some of the most iconic scenery in the Lakes.
The route takes us on a challenging circular towards Helvellyn, with panoramic ridge views, dramatic landscapes, and classic Lakeland terrain throughout the day. Depending on weather and mountain conditions, the route may be adapted for safety and group ability.
Expect a rewarding day on the fells with steep ascents, uneven terrain, and plenty of opportunities to take in the scenery and connect with fellow hikers.

- Distance: Approx. 18–20 km
- Duration: 7–8 hours
- Difficulty: Challenging
- Terrain: Mountain trails, rocky paths, steep ascents/descents

Day 3 - Fairfield Horseshoe Adventure
On day three, we head into the stunning Eastern Fells for a classic hike around Fairfield. This route offers a completely different feel to day one - quieter trails, rolling ridgelines, and spectacular views across the Lake District.
The Fairfield route is a fantastic mountain day with a steady challenge throughout, taking us across high passes and scenic ridge paths before descending back into the valley.
This is the perfect way to round off the weekend with another unforgettable day in the mountains.
Hike Details:
- Distance: Approx. 15–17 km
- Duration: 6–7 hours
- Difficulty: Moderate to Challenging
- Terrain: Fell paths, rocky sections, exposed ridges

Participation Fee
The hiking fee is £75 per person.
Please note that the fee does not include:
- Travel or train tickets (if applicable)

Food & Preparation
Participants must bring packed lunches for both hiking days, along with enough snacks and water for full days in the mountains. Opportunities to purchase food during the hikes will be limited or unavailable.
We strongly recommend bringing:
- Minimum 2 litres of water
- High-energy snacks
- Waterproof clothing
- Proper hiking boots with good grip
- Warm layers suitable for changing mountain weather

Fitness & Experience
Participants should have:
- A good level of fitness
- Previous hill-walking experience
- Confidence walking for several hours in mountainous terrain
