Exciting News! Isle of Wight Hiking Weekend is on the Menu.
The Plan:
Saturday
- Arrive in Totland.
• Check into YHA Totland, a relaxed hostel in West Wight. It’s only a short walk from Totland Bay and makes a great base for exploring the Needles and Tennyson Down.
• Late afternoon hike from Totland to Tennyson Down and the Tennyson Monument
• Continue towards the Needles viewpoint for sunset
• Dinner and overnight in Totland
Sunday
• Breakfast at the hostel
• Hike along the coast via Freshwater Bay and sections of the Tennyson Trail
• Lunch in Yarmouth
• Afternoon alpaca or llama walk at West Wight Alpacas & Llamas
• Ferry home feeling suitably windswept, accomplished and slightly obsessed with llamas
