At Theology at the Bottleworks we have Conversations That Matter - matter to us as individuals and as a community here in St. Louis. Simmering in the background of many topics we have discussed over our many years is the goal, hope or dream for a good society, a flourishing society, This month, for our 20th anniversary of Theology at the Bottleworks (we’re 20 years old!) we’ll dare to dream and discuss in detail about just what that could be. What does a flourishing society look like and act like? What will it look like economically, legally, politically, culturally, socially, individually, spiritually, sociologically, and environmentally? Does a good and flourishing society strike you as a pipe dream or a real possbility? What can usher in some or all of your elements of a good society? We’ll range far and wide as we discuss What is a Flourishing Society? so for the 240th time, please come have a brew, give your view and lend an ear to others’.
