We’ve discussed some heavy topics at TATB lately and are mixing it up in May. Join us for this month’s Theology at the Bottleworks as we discuss “Awe and Wonder - Where Are they From and Where Do They Lead?” We may encounter things that deeply impact us - a vast starry sky, an intricate flower, a moving painting, profound music, or a fascinating mathematical formula. What gives you a sense of awe? Why? Science suggests that awe isn’t just fun, but can benefit our health, relationships, and sense of meaning. Are wonder and awe mere emotion or something more? How and why are we “moved”? Where DO wonder and awe come from and where do they lead us? If they’re good for us - how can we get more? We’ll discuss all this and more so come have a brew, give your view, and lend an ear to others’.
