Monthly film, June—Arrival

Our next theology in film night will be on Monday June 26, 6:00. We will be watching Arrival, where Amy Adams plays a language expert sent in to try and communicate with an alien pod ship when it lands on earth, and help determine whether they are friend or foe.

Topics afterwards will include how our population would likely react if extraterrestrial life contacted us, how men and women tend to solve problems differently, how our sinful nature makes us put our needs or the needs of our group first, and how God can know the best solution to a problem that we cannot, due to not being bound by time.
