What we’re about
This group is dedicated to the study of theology - this means reading and analyzing foundational texts in systematic theology, including Patristic writings and mysticism, as well as the books of the Old and New Testament.
On occasion, we will also delve into agnostics or atheists who are well versed in theology and who give stimulating readings – this means principally writers such as Nietzsche or Zizek.
We might also end up reaching for fiction or poetry, from people like Bloy, Claudel, Dostoevsky, etc. I want to leave the door open because art and creative writing are also immensely helpful when studying Christian doctrine and philosophy.
