What we’re about
About Theology on Tap: Have you ever noticed that sometimes your best and deepest theological reflections happen outside of your place of worship, when you are hanging out with friends? We have too, and that is the whole idea behind Theology on Tap. Our Theology on Tap is for those who embrace the questions, rather than those who embrace answers - meaning that if you are hoping to tell everyone your "truth," but are unwilling to listen to the "truth" of others, this isn't for you. This is for people of all faiths, all denominations within faiths, and those who are seekers. And, as a result, it has really taken off! Past topics have included “Pluralism: How can we talk about God without killing each other?”, “Faith: What’s that all about?”, and “Why are we here?: An exploration of the meaning of our existence.” The topic in January will be “A New Year, A New Faith?: What questions and challenges do we need to explore in the year ahead, and which spiritual practices are best for you?”
