Christchurch Wood Type Poster Workshop

This three hour workshop focusses on creating posters from our wood type collection and printing on our flat bed proof presses. You will learn how to measure and pack wood type, compose, lock up, hand colour and print.
No experience required. You will go home with a dozen of your own min. A3 posters. Transform your favourite quote, mantra or joke into a tangible treasure. You're welcome to bring cotton tote bags to print on too if time permits.

The workshops are run by Graham Judd of Inkiana Press, formerly GTO Printers. Graham is a highly experienced, qualified letterpress machinist. and one of the top letterpress educators in the country with regular assignments abroad. https://www.inkianapress.co.nz

Time: Sunday 17th May 9.30am -12.30pm

Cost: $80 (less 10% for members) includes tuition, materials and letterpress booklet. Also 10% discount for all three weekend classes. Places are limited and can only be confirmed by payment.
