Lean Into Your Light
Details
###
We are going to start 2026 in the light. We will be reading Lean Into Your Light by MaryEllen Whitton, a local Bay Area author. Lean Into Your Light is a grounded, compassionate guide to remembering who you are—and rebuilding confidence, clarity, and self-trust from the inside out.
The book began as handwritten notes from a mother to her daughter during a time of self-doubt. Those notes evolved into an award-winning personal growth guide for anyone feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure how to trust their inner voice again. It’s written “backwards,” starting with the inner states we all want—calm, clarity, emotional steadiness—and gently guiding you toward them.
This book is meant to be lived with, not devoured in a weekend. Reflection prompts, journaling space, and mindset exercises are woven throughout, inviting you to slow down, listen inward, and notice how language and self-talk shape your lived experience.
This book is especially supportive if you’re:
- In a life or identity transition
- Recovering from burnout or emotional overload
- Rebuilding trust in yourself
- Ready for confidence that feels embodied, not performative
✨ Special note: The author will join our first session on February 4, 2026 for conversation and reflection. Get your book and meet us in the Zoom Room!
