Netflix Party w/ TSFBC: "What Happened to Monday"

Sorry to report that Netflix appears to have taken down "the Endless" overnight. We'll be watching "What Happened to Monday" instead!

We're hosting another stay at home, social-distancing movie night on Thursday, April 15th using Teleparty.

Due to a change in plans, we're watching "What Happened to Monday" (2017) - Noomi Rapace, Glenn Close, Willem Dafoe

It's a great film with a killer cast. I hope you'll join us!

We REALLY want to see "The Endless" and will schedule it as soon as it comes back!

This time around, we'll be screening the 2018 indie film "The Endless". Picked as the overwhelming winner in our poll, I'm glad to see that people are as curious about this movie as we are!

A brief description from Rotten Tomatoes:
Two brothers receive a cryptic video message inspiring them to revisit the UFO death cult they escaped a decade earlier.

RogerEbert.com has strong words of praise for it, so it has really piqued my interest (as if "UFO death cult" wasn't enough to get me curious).
"If you have a good idea, a strong cast, a smart script, and directorial chops, you don't need a lot of money to make a compelling movie. 'The Endless' is proof."

I'll be hosting the Party and will post the live link at the top of the Description @ 6:30pm so you can join us. We'll start the movie promptly at 7:00pm. Just RSVP and click the link to join.

TeleParty is an easy-to-install Chrome plugin that syncs up Netflix for everyone who joins the Party and allows us all to text chat during the movie.

Some details about TeleParty:

• You'll want to install this free plugin before Wednesday.
• Be logged into Netflix before you click the live link when I post it up.
• Tele Party does not work on a TV. It will work on most mobile devices and on laptop and desktop computers.
• A workaround if you want to watch it on your TV: Wait for us to start the movie and then visually cue them up. Then mute your computer.
• There is a 50 person max on a Party room.

Finally, the movie will start promptly at 7:00pm and we will pause it for a 10-minute intermission half-way through.
