Hi all,
Book of the Month:
"A Psalm for the Wild-Built" by Becky Chambers (2021)

Becky Chambers won by a big margin in this month's book. Clocking in at 160 pages, it is definitely one of the shorter novels we've read recently. But if "To Be Taught, if Fortunate" was any indication, it should be a fun read. We're excited to read "A Psalm for the Wild-Built", too! Winner of this year's Hugo Award, it's the story of a long awaked robot civilization and a chance encounter.

If you're interested in learning more about it, you'll find an interesting hour-long conversation between Becky Chambers and Martha Wells over Zoom from 2021. Careful of spoilers for both this novel and the new Murderbot Diaries, but seems interesting. In a funny coincidence, Book Club read both "To Be Taught, If Fortunate" and the first Murderbot book, "All Systems Red", in the same month in 2019!
