Hi everyone,

Book of the Month
Ubik - Philip K. Dick (1969)

First of all, apologies for the delay in posting our survey results, life is crazy right now.

Like many of you, I'm a Philip K. Dick fan. His ability to easily convey the worlds he creates and his "out there" concepts have made him one of the pillars of science fiction. His near-first-person perspective approach to narration and his story-crafting skills make him among the more accessible authors in the genre.

I don't know about you, but I am really looking forward to this month's selection! To have a novel I haven't read by Dick described by the Guardian as a story "that seems to squirm away the moment you think you've got a grip on it" has me very curious. Ubik is a story of death, life, psychics, and corporate espionage.

I don't want to go too much further into the story as I don't know what I'll be spoiling. Get into it and let us know what you think!

Cheers,
Jon
