You'll find more information below about Sunday's event from the Palace Theater. A note that you can come and go as you please, you do not need to attend the whole event.
What happens when two legends of justice share the same screen? On February 22nd (the 96th anniversary of our opening day), Movies at the Palace presents a double-feature showdown of Superman (1978) and Batman (1989) — two iconic films that redefined the modern superhero and inspired generations to find the courage within.
As part of our Season of Courage, this screening explores what it means to stand up for others—whether it’s Superman’s unwavering faith in humanity or Batman’s fearless fight for a city lost to corruption. Together, these timeless stories remind us that courage takes many forms: compassion, conviction, and the choice to act when others cannot.
