Update - We are heading to Parry Sound and Killarney!

Hi All! First off, my apologies for not getting this out earlier. These Boots have been busy planning upcoming events, and plans for next year. With regards to Vermont I can't bring myself to cross the US border and finding an equivalent was tough.
So I hope you will join me in the next adventure in Ontario. Here is what it looks like.

1. Arrive in Parry Sound Friday Night AFTER 7pm. Ensure you have dinner befor arriving. I can accommodate 10 people in my house with sleeping bags and floor pads, inside and 4 tents in the backyard. (My house is on the market and is currently being staged so it needs to be handled with care.) Note: Parking is street parking.
   Alternatively, the spillover can share a motel room -check out
   a) Town and Country Motel
   b) Algonquin Motel
   c) Jolly Roger Inn
2. Saturday, August 30 : Leave Parry Sound at 10:am to arrive at 10:30 at the Seguin Recreational trail. Saturdays hike is easy in preparation for Sunday's which is NOT.
   There are a variety of restaurants to choose from.
3. Sunday August 31: Leave Parry Sound at 7am and head to the trail head of Topaz Lake via La Cloche Silhouette Trail in killarney.
   Topaz Lake can be found along the Baie Fine section of the La Cloche Silhouette Trail. The trail is well-maintained with lakes markers indicating names of lakes and has generous lookout point onto different lakes throughout. This trail will take upwards of 5 hours especially if you decide to swim at Topaz Lake, so it is essential to be adequately prepared for the terrain, weather, and long day by bringing lots of water, food, and proper gear. Parts of the trail have crossings with high water levels and can be muddy at other parts. Parts have a high incline!
   (For Killarney you must call to book a day pass for $15.50 6 days in advance - Aug 26- from the George Lake Office which is where we will enter)

Sunday Dinner at 11 Farrer for a potluck outside. Please ensure there is not cooking involved. Lots of places to pick up food.
