Hike, Barbecue and Swim! Sat. July 12 - Mcrae Lake and Port Severn

This event has the potential for an overnight.
We meet at Mcrae Lake and hike 15.4 kms. This is a moderately challenging hike and beautiful on crown land. Through parts of the bruce trail you are following Georgian Bay with lots of great views,
Parking fills up quickly and there is an alternate parking lot, 5 minutes away. We will direct you when we arrive.
Ten minutes away, is my cottage in Port Severn on Georgian Bay.
Everyone is invited back for a barbecue, games, fire & swim! (Bring your own Booze and something to contribute food wise)
Note: Our organizers and a few of our regular hikers will be staying at the cottage overnight. We can't accommodate everyone because of septic tank sensititivities with large numbers.

1. Camp at McCrae Lake - it is crown land so no reservations required-but get there early - even friday night as they fill up quickly.
