We've got a magician, hoola hoops, and water balloons! Hike for a Cause!

Join "These Boots" as we hike for a cause - a fun filled 22km hike (Don't worry. You don't have to hike the entire trail. You do have to show up!) We are hiking Toronto's ravine system to raise money for a local charity.

With so many charities to choose from, it is difficult to choose. Mental Health is a huge one, along with homelessness. Since we donate and make close to 500 sandwiches at xmas to shelters, we decided to donate to a City of Toronto Womens Shelter that will help women leaving the shelter buy appliances. Your $15.00 goes a long way to getting broken families back on the feet.

For the fun part, along the way to keep you pumped and engaged, we will have a magician, a water balloon toss and hoola hoops AND prizes!

Here's how it works -
Meet at Lawrence Station (in the little parkette by the library) wearing good walking shoes and clothes that are ok to get wet! Bring lots of water and a lunch.
There is a $15. donation that goes directly to the charity - remember These Boots does not charge anything unless we are being charged.

In this case we are showing that hikers have hearts too!
$15 will need to be e-transferred by Sept 1.
