Algonguin Over night - Trecking Training Level 2 - 2 Day Hike with Full Gear

Trecking Trainingg Level 2 - This is so much fun!
A 2 day hiking experience in Algonguin - Maggie Lake via Western Uplands Backpacking Trail in Algonguin!

• Get your Treck on and get ready for Quebec 4 day treck in the Mountains as well as upcoming international trips.
  Come prepared with your gear - we can help you with that - for a fun and informative 15km hike into the woods, stay overnight and another 15km back!
  Level 2 Training you are all in! You know what to bring, and now the hard part starts. You will learn to simulate a real backcountry experience. We will focus on
• Building endurance, and navigating with fatigue
• Group coordination and being a team player
• Focus on campsite and tear down on time cause when we need to leave there is no dilly dallying around
• Cooking and food storage
• Managing wildlife encounters
• Managing surprises which can turn out to be the best thing ever!
• Gaining trust in your leader and fellow campers
• Move from casual camper to serious hiker while having lots of fun!
  Because of the amount of time we spend getting treckers up to speed we will be charging for training - there is a $99. fee. These two courses are mandatory if you want to join our international trips or within Canada trips.
  For our regular Treckers, you do not need to take this course! You might want to help out and share your experience!
