Learn To Winter Camp and Zoom Call!

You are not a real camper until you have winter camped! Believe it or not it is a really fun experience. Join our Winter Camping Training Event to get ready for winter! Here are the details.

2. Put your schooling to test before it gets super cold. An overnight at Mansfield Outdoor Centre.
Arrive at 8:00am on Saturday (one hour from toronto) to set up tents. We have 7 sites- If there are more than seven people then you must share tents which is a great way to keep warm!
At 10:30am join These Boots Day Hikers for an all day hike, then everyone comes back to camp for a potluck and bonfire and night hike. We say goodbye to the day campers and overnighters hunker down!
Don't worry. If you really can't hack it I have a cabin reserved just in case.
3. Because it is November, you will survive just fine. You will have the opportunity to really test it out in February in Algonguin to see what you are really made of!
Cost is $99. for Winter Camp Training, plus $37.50 per site. (This is divided if you are sharing and includes the cabin)
Registration and payment is due before November 4.
