MEET UP POINT: 2290 GREENWOOD RD, AJAX, L1T 4S4

The Greenwood Conservation Area is a beautiful area, with trees and a clean, flowing river. There is a good variety of terrain and changes in elevation. Part of the trail follows Duffins Creek.
This is a 14.5 loop with a 151 m elevation gain. Reviewers describe it as "Highlights include vibrant forests, beautiful streams, and a great hiking experience."
You will be hiking through the snow which makes things a touch harder, so please come prepared with icers! Of course the usual layered clothing, gaters so snow doesn't travel down your boots, and warm gloves and head covering.
Bring lots of water and a hefty lunch.
