Hey All: Because we liked today's hike so much we are going back next week and coming in from the opposite direction. It's a large area so we want to do it again from the opposite side - there are lots of side trails.
There are some single track side trails that are more moderate or hard as well, and the route is a great option. Overall, this is a beautiful place with lots of trail options whether you want to have a leisurely walk or challenge yourself a bit.
You can expect rocks, flat areas and forest. Its a lovely mixed bag!
Its a different point of view!
This is a 15km hike. If your up for it we can always make it a longer hike. It might be muddy so wear waterproof boots and hiking poles are helpful. We will be stopping for lunch at 1pm so bring lots of water and nibbles.
PS: A note on car pooling. Please offer a ride to someone. Many people want to come and can't find rides. This is part of the BOOTS Community. We help each other out. Also, you can ask for gas money remember your passenger is not there to fill your tank but to contribute to gas. $10. to $15, is the max you should ask. If there are multiple people, $10, per person.
