This hike starts from the roadside parking and quickly transitions into a quiet forest network surrounding Kortright Centre for Conservation, while staying on the outer trails.
The route is a longer loop, covering 13-15 km, with a few intentional detours onto side trails to explore deeper sections of the woods.
Expect a medium fast paced hike with plenty of natural stopping points. Plan a scenic break midway for lunch (bring your own) in the picnic area next to Humber River.
Overall, it's a rewarding spring hike with a good balance of distance, variety, and calm surroundings.
