Wandering Wednesdays - Applegate, AR, Old Lime Kiln, Lookout 7 Mile Hike

This event was accidently posted twice. A computer glitch. I've transferred all the RSVP's to this writeup. Sorry for any confusion!

Wandering Wednesdays is heading to Applegate to hike down to the American River just north of Lake Clementine. This is about a 7 mile hike with a 1560' climb on the return.
On the way down we will take a side trail to the Old Lime Kiln then back out and down to the river. On the climb up we will stop about the half way point and go out to Long Point Lookout for a break with a grand view!

We'll Meet at Roseville Taylor Road Park & Ride (Sunsplash) at 8:20 am to carpool to Applegate. Pay your driver $8-$10.

The trailhead parking is in a dirt lot on the left side of Cerro Vista Dr shortly after veering left off of Boole Rd
Our goal is to be hiking by 9:00 am.
