Multiple dates posted. You only need to attend one.
Travel plans begin with planning before the plane takes off — they begin with curiosity, conversation, and a spark of “what if?”
You are invited to join me for a live Zoom Q&A where we will explore distinct travel destinations, each offering its own sense of adventure, depth, and wonder. This is your chance to ask questions, hear what makes travel with me special, and imagine yourself there with the company of fellow travelers, hikers and or friends
Journey One: Iceland
Why Iceland? A land shaped by fire, ice, and time itself. From roaring waterfalls and vast glaciers to quiet moments beneath wide Nordic skies, Iceland offers a raw and unforgettable sense of place. Once you decide to join, inform if extension to Norway is possible for you. We will create a separate planning where to stay, what to do, how to get there and all. This will be a self-guided journey to have flexibility and manage budgetary restraints. I have been to Norway twice and guiding you to places will be a breeze. Why Norway? Norway invites you into a world of deep fjords, soaring mountains, and storybook coastal villages, offering a softer, more lyrical counterpoint to Iceland’s volcanic drama. It’s a place where nature feels both grand and deeply calming — and where the journey itself becomes part of the magic. It is easy to get around Norway.
Journey Two: Nepal --- This journey is about the experience of the trail itself — the daily rhythm of walking, the mountain villages you pass through, and the deep connection that forms between landscape, culture, and fellow trekkers. We will explore trekking in the Himalayas, whether to Everest Base Camp (EBC) or Annapurna Base Camp (ABC). That said, ABC has been capturing the most attention — and who can blame them? Compared to EBC, ABC offers a more intimate trekking experience, with fewer crowds, stretches of still-undiscovered landscape, and the added gift of nearby Pokhara, a lakeside haven beneath the sacred peak of Machapuchare (Fishtail Mountain). It is a journey that feels both wild and wonderfully balanced.
Journey Three: South India
Whether you have time to extend to South India (SI) or not, SI will be the next destination. Where the pace softens and the senses come alive. This is a trip on its own and you aree welcome to extend yourself for the awe and journey. This journey highlights ancient temples rich with history and ritual, the lush waterways of Kerala, and its distinctive culture experienced aboard traditional houseboats drifting through palm-lined backwaters. We will also touch on opportunities for Ayurveda wellness treatments, restorative massage, and yoga, offering a deeply grounding and rejuvenating way to reflect and restore after time in the mountains.
The dates are set for all destinations as follows:
Iceland: August 24-31, Norway follows (open for discussion)
Nepal:
Option A: Oct 3-9, Cultural Explorer – 7 days sightseeing only
Option B-C: Sep 26 – Oct 9th – EBC or ABC
South India: Culture. Color. Connection
Oct 10-24
This Zoom gathering is relaxed, interactive, and designed for both seasoned adventurers and curious dreamers. Come with questions, come with wonder, or simply come to listen and see what resonates.
Come join me and bring your curiosity and questions.
