Expect about 5.5 miles and 550 feet EG. similar AllTrails route - we will travel around the lake for a bit more mileage.
Weather looks good with a high near 46. Bring snowshoes, lunch/snacks, and plenty of water. Be prepared for wind, sun, and cool temps: weather .gov
Park in turnout on top of Luther Pass or larger turnout roughly across the street
If carpooling expect to pay about $4.5/hour or $15. Expect to be at trailhead about 8:45 or so. Trailhead location or try typing "Luther Pass" into GPS
Recommend checking road conditions in the morning CalTrans. Bad weather and/or driving conditions will cancel, so stay tuned.
No restroom at trailhead. Dogs on lead welcome.
