Breathwork Workshop
Do you ever feel like you are constantly catching your breath just trying to get to the next destination, finish the next task, or respond to the next notification? Like your body is moving through the day, but your nervous system never truly settles? Many live in a subtle state of “go mode,” where shallow breathing, tight shoulders, and racing thoughts become the norm and do not even realize how much stress is accumulating.
What if you could pause and truly breathe? With that thought, you are invited to join me for a restorative Breathwork Workshop where we will gently shift from survival mode into a state of calm and balance.
There are many different types of breathing (Pranayama) but we will focus on two, maximum three to hone in what really works for your given situation.
This breathwork workshop is designed to help you slow down, reset, and reconnect. In this session, we will explore guided rhythmic breathing techniques that gently activate the parasympathetic nervous system, allowing the body to shift out of stress mode and into deep relaxation. Through intentional breath patterns, calming music, and supportive guidance, you will have space to release tension, clear mental fog, and restore (or raise) your natural energy flow.
Proper breathing has been shown to reduce stress and anxiety, improve mental clarity, support emotional balance, and enhance overall well-being.
If you are ready to rest, recharge, and experience the power of your own breath, join me. Btw, I was born with asthma and has been asthmatic all my life. When I learned Pranayama in India, my energy improved exponentially. I hiked Inka Trail, Choquequirao, explored Tibet and other higher altitudes like Ecuador, and competed and played tennis leagues for decades without the use of any inhalers.
We will integrate a brief asana movement towards the end, so our body moves.
This session will be held at a private residence in the South Natomas area. Address will be provided for those who will RSVP two days before the event. Space is limited so please honor your RSVP. I look forward to breathing with you.
Dress comfortably and do not wear any scents, perfumes or other strong odor.
