Let's Hike Cronan Ranch

Well it's cooled down a little bit from our little heatwave. Let's do a mellow, local like. I'd like to think that there will be a lot of wildflowers up there, so we will see. Here's a blatant, but edited, copy and paste from AllTrails;

Discover this 4.4-mile loop trail near Pilot Hill, California. Generally considered a moderate route, it takes an average of 1 h 56 min to complete. This is a popular trail for birding, hiking, and walking, but you can still enjoy some solitude during quieter times of day. The best times to visit this trail are January through October. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash. This beautiful hike explores the Cronan Ranch Regional Trails Park, offering expansive views while hearing the roaring South Fork of the American River. You'll find several spots by the river with picnic tables and bathrooms where you can stop for a break or a snack. There's little shade along this route, so it's best to start early and bring plenty of water and sunscreen. This is an excellent area for birdwatching and to see many kinds of wildflowers in bloom in spring. This will be a mellow, smell the roses, paced hike. If you are going to be in a rush please choose another hike.

No shows and late sign-offs are not okay. Especially if there are people on the wait list. Please bring a bag to put your boots in after the hike if you are a passenger. And also if you are a passenger please bring cash for your driver as not everyone uses electronic payments.
