Hallelujah and Pioneer Trails Loop Hike

SUMMARY
On this moderate loop hike in Tahoe National Forest and lower Sierras, we will hike on the Hallelujah Trail and Pioneer Trail in a counterclockwise loop for about 6 miles with a cumulative elevation gain of about 800 feet.
MEETING PLACES AND TIMES
For carpooling, meet 8:30am at park and ride next to Shell Gas Station on Taylor Rd in Roseville, and address is 1836 Taylor Rd, Roseville, CA 95661. Please pay carpool driver the current price of gas per gallon.
For those meeting directly at the trailhead, meet 10:00am at a parking lot next to Pioneer and Hallelujah Trailheads on North Burlington Rd just off of CA HWY 20, and one of Google GPS coordinators for locating the parking lot is 39.318089,-120.826684.
HIKING INFORMATION AND ESSENTIALS
DIFFUCLTY: Moderate due to some hills.
DISTANCE: About 6 miles.
ELEVATION: About 800 feet in comulative elevation gain.
ROUTE: Start at Pioneer and Hallelujah Trailhead at the end of North Burlington Rd, then hike down and up on Hallelujah Trail for about 3.5 miles, then turn left and hike downhill to Skillman Horse Campground for very short distance of about 500 feet to take a break and have lunch. After having lunch and taking a break at Skillman Horse Campground, hiks about 500 feet uphill to a trail junction, then turn right and hike on Pioneer Trail for a little over 2 miles back to the starting point.
ESSENTIALS: Bring water, hiking shoes/boots, first aid kit, bug repellent spray, snacks/small lunch, sun protection (hat, sunglasses, etc), etc.
