Sushi Making Experience | The Shared Table RTP
Have you ever wanted to learn how to make sushi instead of just ordering it at a restaurant?
Join us for a fun, hands-on sushi-making experience in Cary!
During this class, you'll learn how sushi is made, prepare your own ingredients, create your own sushi rolls, and enjoy the food you make together with others.
No previous cooking experience is needed. Whether you're a sushi lover, curious about Asian cuisine, or simply looking for a fun weekend activity, you're welcome to join.
At The Shared Table RTP, we believe food is more than just something we eat. It's a way to discover new cultures, learn the stories behind the dishes, create something with our own hands, and share meaningful moments around the table.
What We'll Do
During this experience, you'll:
Learn how to prepare sushi rice for great texture and flavor
Learn beginner-friendly sushi-making techniques
Create your own sushi rolls using fresh ingredients
Enjoy homemade sauces and seasonings prepared by Jenny
Receive a recipe guide after the class so you can continue making sushi at home
Most importantly, you'll have the chance to slow down, connect with others, and enjoy the experience of making food together.
About Jenny
Jenny is the founder of The Shared Table RTP, a place where people come together through food.
She creates hands-on cooking experiences that help people discover Asian cuisine in a comfortable and welcoming environment. Her classes have earned a 4.9-star rating on Classpop, and she has hosted cooking experiences for corporate teams, student groups, and community events.
Her goal is simple: help people enjoy great food, learn something new, and create memories together.

• All ingredients and supplies are included.
• Please let us know about any food allergies or dietary restrictions.
• You are welcome to bring water or another non-alcoholic beverage.
• Feel free to bring a reusable container if you'd like to take extra sushi home.
• Coming alone? No problem. Many guests attend solo and enjoy meeting new people around the table.
