The Shared Walk: Afternoon Light — Photography Practice at Tod’s Point
Details
This is a structured photography practice walk focused on afternoon light, mood, and shared experience at Tod’s Point.
Everyone walks the same route together through shoreline, fields, marshes, bridges, wooded areas, and garden spaces. Each participant receives a different creative prompt that assigns a specific mood to each location. The goal is to translate light and atmosphere into a small visual story.
This is not a workshop or critique group. There is no competition, no gear focus, and no pressure to perform. All cameras are welcome, including phones. Sharing images is always optional.
We meet at 2:30pm, about two hours before sunset.
Meeting point is the first parking lot on the right as you drive into Tod’s Point.
We’ll walk at a relaxed pace, pause at key locations, and finish near sunset. An optional coffee stop afterward is open to anyone who’d like to continue the conversation.
If you’re looking for a calm, intentional way to practice photography and enjoy the process, you’re very welcome.
