This session has reached capacity. Alongside Meetup registrations, the event was promoted through local community channels and several spots were reserved by two local entertainment companies for training their event photography teams. Thank you for your interest and please keep an eye on future sessions.

--------------------------------------------------

This studio session is a relaxed, hands-on practice focused on working with light over time.

We’ll explore light painting using long exposures, building images gradually rather than capturing them in a single moment. The focus is on experimentation, timing, and the relationship between movement and light.

Participants will need a camera capable of long shutter speeds, including bulb mode. Use of a tripod and remote shutter is recommended. Tripods will be available at the studio, and you are welcome to bring your own.

We’ll work with continuous light sources of different colors, adding simple elements such as fog and reflections to shape the scene.

The goal is not precision, but exploration and creative freedom.
We’ll move at a calm pace, allowing time to try, adjust, and repeat.
This is not a lecture or critique session. It’s a working practice.

A model will be present, so you’ll leave not only with experience, but with images for your portfolio.

This session works best as a continuation of the series, but can also be taken on its own.

The studio is spacious and comfortable, with ample parking and bathrooms in the building.
