We’re a fun, inclusive community where everyone belongs. We bring people together through movie nights, dining outings, happy hours, and social events. Whether you’re here for movies, food, conversation, or connection, everyone is welcome. Join us to meet new people and build genuine friendships in a relaxed, welcoming space.

Volunteer-Run & Community-Powered
Our group is run by volunteer event organizers who plan and host activities in their own free time—doing things they genuinely enjoy and want to share with others. Events are created when and how our organizers are able, so schedules and offerings may vary.
If you’re interested in helping plan, host, or support events, we’d love to hear from you. Please reach out to us via direct message or email to get involved.
Cancellations, No-Shows, and Communication Policy
If you're feeling sick or unwell, we completely understand — your health comes first! We kindly ask that you take a moment to update your RSVP to "Not Attending" as soon as you're able, even if it's just a quick update when you have a minute.
For all group events, please update your RSVP at least two hours before the event if you can no longer attend.
We enforce a three-strike policy for no-shows or lack of communication. After three instances of missing an event without notice, members will be removed from the group.

Selkie's combined birthday and first anniversary live At the @SPACEBAR cafe in La Mesa! The event is entirely free, but you must buy something off the menu to participate in karaoke/open mic hour! (Don't worry- everything is delicious!)
Join us for a night of fun and music with karaoke and an open mic, followed by performances from local idols, Mochi Cafe, and Selkie themself. Fancy/formal dress isn't mandatory, but it is highly encourage- Selkie would love to see everyone dressed to the nines on this special night!
Event is free, but guests must show proof of purchase from the cafe's menu in order to participate in karaoke and open mic.

The fair will take place in the old Chinatown of San Diego, now known as the Asian Pacific Thematic District.
The Year of the Fire Horse signifies a high-energy, fast-paced period focused on independence, adventure, and bold, decisive action. It represents a time for taking charge of one's life, embracing change, and trusting one's own strength to move forward without waiting for permission!
Public transportation (bus/trolley), rideshare, taxis, and other drop-off services are encouraged.
Trolley: The Fair is two blocks from the trolley. Take the Green Line to Convention Center or Gaslamp Quarter station.
Parking: Free parking, metered parking, and public pay parking lots are available. Nearby lots include LOT 1035 on 450 Second Avenue, one block West of the Fair. “Park it on Market” at 614 Market Street, has 500 spaces on 6 levels, three blocks from the Fair with reasonable pricing.
You can also reserve parking in advance through Spot Hero!

Community potluck, music, games and activities, fun prizes, relaxed vibes, laughter, and great conversations. This is a low-pressure, alcohol-free environment focused on community and connection.🥘 How you can participate:
Please bring one of the following:
